Fighting Steel
PC GAME REVIEW posted on 25 AUG 1999 by Alan Dunkin
Fighting Steel is a simulation of naval combat in World War II, specifically between 1939 and 1942. The player has the option to command ships from the United States, Japan, England, or Germany, in a variety of historical, custom-built, or randomized scenarios, and through a series of historical (or ahistorical) campaigns, against the AI or other human opponents over a local area network (LAN) or the Internet. Players can assume command of divisions or groups of ships down to the individual ship function level, or can opt to play a "division command"-style simulation (more on that later).
