Gold for Star Wars Battlefront

The game melding Star Wars and Battlefield is done.
Lucas Arts announced today Star Wars Battlefront had gone gold and would be in stores on Tuesday, September 21st, the same date as the release of the first three Star Wars episodes on DVD. The multiplayer-focused Battlefront includes a variety of similarities with the popular Battlefield 1942 / Vietnam games: players pilot various Star Wars authentic vehicles while doing battle on the battlefields made famous by Lucas' sci-fi movies. The FPS will carry a MSRP of $40 upon its release.
