GONE GOLD posted on 9 SEP 2004 by Chris Abele
The Vietnam Conflict shooter is gold...for the second time.
Eidos announced Thursday its latest shooter, Shellshock: Nam '67 (screenshots feature), had gone gold and was heading to stores. Shellshock takes a "Platoon" or "Apocalpyse Now" look at the Vietnam Conflict, presenting the jungle battles through the eyes of a freshly recruited soldier. The action shooter heavily emphasizes the more controversial aspects of Vietnam, as well as featuring popular shooter fare. Shellshock is being released for the Xbox, Playstation 2, and PC systems. The game is priced at $50 and should be in stores around September 14th.
